2.) No, CCHIT has NOT YET been named as THE certifying authority. Many people and vendors would like for you to believe otherwise.

3.) Yes, CCHIT WILL PROBABLY be named as THE certifying authority.

4.) When they ARE named, we will start the certification process. Until that time, we consider it premature to pay their onerous/exhorbitant fees.

5.) Only 14 vendors are currently certified at the time of this writing. THEY would like for you to believe that they will be the ONLY ones to be certified. THEY would like for you to make a "hasty decision" without having all of the facts. The wording of the relevant section of the stimulus package is vague; get a copy and read it for yourself. Don't just take the word of a "sales rep".

5.) YES, we are THAT much faster than our competition.
